Historically Turquoise has been used by man for thousands of year's. It is strong and opaque with unique shade of blue, often blue-green, lends it name, Turquoise, to all things of this tranquil hue. yet soothing to the touch, the delicate veining webbing in cream or brown is inherent to the stone and serves to enhance the character of the stone. Healing to the eye of the wearer as if carved from heavens itself and passed down from the gods to earth. Turquoise is a stone of protection, hence has been worn as a talisman for kings, shamans, and warriors.

The name Turquoise is derived from the French, Pierre turquoise, meaning “Turkish stone,”

The Turquoise stone was brought on Trade routes from the mines of Central Asia through Turkey to Europe merchants often purchased the stone in Turkish bazaars.

Turquoise has spanned all cultures, prized as a symbol of wisdom, nobility and the power of immortality. Turquoise is a Sacred Stone for many Ancient tribes like the Egyptians, Persians and Chinese, Aztecs and Incas of South America, and Native North Americans. It brings to the Wearer Energy of power , Luck and Protection.

Turquoise is also reputed to be influenced by the physical condition of the person who wears it.

Our Handmade Turquoise Jewellery comes from China some Synthetic Simulated & some Natural Turquoise depending on what we are able to acquire at time of making our Jewellery. There will be a Slight Difference in price of our Turquoise to reflect this with Natural being slightly more expensive.
