Natural Ruby in Zoisite, also Known as Anyolite, from the Masai word for Green. It is a combination of two minerals that was first Discovered in Tanzania in 1949 near the foot of the Kilimanjaro mountains in the Longido Mining district.

Ruby zoisite is a vibrant red ruby stone is encapsulated within the green zoisite. In terms of its colour, ruby zoisite includes two or three colours: Green, due to the zoisite. Red or pink, due to the ruby crystals. Sometimes black, due to the potential presence of hornblende, a type of dark mineral.
